Christine is the motherly figure at 500 Startups - in fact, she gave birth right around the time we started their incubator. She's incredibly smart and gives the best advice of anybody at 500.
Rod, known to his friends as "Rowdy," is a capitalist with a heart of gold--he's a clean tech VC and a peace corp alumn. He's a suspiciously charming figure, and very, very good looking. He has a terrifically unique namesake (better ask him about that).
Arturs is the coolest intern we know. He's a great utility player at EI, where he does everything--graphic design, market research, you name it. Fun fact: Arturs is multi-lingual (French, German, Russian AND English) and a BBA student at GWU.
Ghermay is the President and CEO of New Light Technologies. Things over there are so bright, he's gotta wear these Spinnakr Shades. Even at night. Even while driving. Pictured here with fellow Terp, our own Justin Searles (at left).
Pat manages the Acceleprise community while keepin' it real at the Kellogg school. Fun fact: Pat is known as the "world's second most photogenic man" among the DC technorati.
Julian is a fantastic, omni-talented developer who we had the pleasure of working with @Spinnakr over the summer. He's EXCEPTIONAL at Star Craft and, BTW, he built shades of fame!
Nick's an awesome guy who hustled his way into our hearts, and is quickly becoming a player in the broader DCtech community. We have a lot of faith in this guy.
Luis runs Borderstan - he talks quick, calls shots and snaps photos. We mostly got in the way, so we gave him some shades to make it up to him.
Max Leyzerovic, a.k.a.DUQE, is a master of Experience Design and Interface Development. He's also persistently hilarious AND, we deduce from this picture, a cat fan.
Pat's the mythical sea creature behind Spectre Visual, but sometimes he ventures onto land, and when he does, he sports our shades.
Sabel is the Marketing Maven at TrackMaven. She's so addicted to Starbucks they know her by name, and she's always up for a good time.
Meredith Piece is a younger, more charming, more attractive version of Bobby Ocampo. She's one of the closest friends of the company, meaning she comes to every party we've thrown.
Rishon does marketing at Spinnakr and loves it so much she bleeds blue and turquoise. You'll never meet a person Rishon can't outcharm or outsass.
Paige does marketing at the American Intellectual Property Law Association, which is surprising, because one would normally assume a tiny dog couldn't hack the complex world of legal advocacy.
Dan's the guy you'll see rocking his shades at Friday night indie shows. When not seeing live music, Dan is likely enjoying his pork and IPA (whiskey if getting his Don Draper on).
Our only question here is, why isn't the horse wearing our shades?
